What Sets Us Apart
We strive to offer competent and caring
veterinarian services. Your horses are treated as if they were our own.
Orlando Equine Clinic and Dr. Silvia
do Valle are proud of our unique differences:
We offer haul in facilities as well as a fully mobile practice with a doctor whose life has been
dedicated to horses and ponies, aside her knowledge of canine and feline medicine. We can provide excellent medical care
through specific equipment and medications. We practice Integrative Medicine combining the best of Alternative and Conventional Medicine.
By bringing your horse to us you benefit economically by
saving the farm call fee (haul in fees apply), and time by knowing your doctor
is right there and you will be seen next instead of patiently waiting for the
doctor to arrive at your farm. If you prefer a farm call, you have the comfort of your own home or office,
no trailer trips, no noisy waiting room, and the extra assurance that you
are protecting your horse from contact with other possibly sick animals.
Service Policies
Your horse's health is our priority.
Payment for all services is payable in full at the
time of the visit; cash is prefered method but we accept checks (along with
presenting your FL DL) and PayPal. PayPal payments are to be made at the
time of the visit or in advance. Soon we expect
to be able to accept credit cards also.
Exam Time Dos & Don'ts
Emergency cases must be seen immediately,
which may effect previously scheduled appointments.
A suitable well lit dry area should be provided for the exam
and treatment. The animal must be restrained by a halter and lead rope as usual.
Fractious animals will need extra restraint and/or sedation, for its own safety and ours. Please have your
horse in a stall or promptly available for the procedures. Depending on the
procedure, we may need your help too. Time is valuable to us, and its waste
delays other clients scheduled appointments. We ask you to avoid us having
to spend it trying to catch a horse. We are not trainers so please
make sure your horse is trained to behave as well as possible making things easier
and faster.
